In this workshop you will use Gelli plates and Styrofoam!

First, we will get our feet wet making monoprints with Styrofoam and making 6 printed cards. Next, we will move on to Gelli plates. We will start with a few practice pieces using acrylic paint, stamps, stencils, and a bundle of imagination. We will then move on to creating up to 6 greeting cards (they will be 5x7 so can also be framed). One can paint an image with acrylic, watercolor, markers, stamps, stencils, the list goes on! You can also transfer a magazine image and then paint. It’s just a great time to let loose and be creative.

Everything is supplied you just need to show up maybe with an image or two from your favorite magazine or just some ideas in mind. You will also need to have a drawing you want to transfer to Styrofoam and create some greeting cards. You will leave with up to 12 greeting cards with envelopes and perhaps the desire to make more!
